Overall a good hotel, the staff are amazing, really helpful and hard working.
Beautiful location can’t fault it, however the hotel itself could do with a spruce which would easily make the rating 4/5 stars. A few pretty flowers & lights especially outside would transform the area 100%.
The hotel is located in Portocolum which is very quiet, if you are looking for night life , shops and bars this is not really the place, if you want peace & quiet and to chill then it is perfect for couples.
Food and drink is very good. Not much variety but always something you can enjoy. Drink variety is good and no limit as to how many drinks you can have at one time.
The beach and harbour are a 5/10 minute walk away and are definitely worth a visit, great places with lots of bars and restaurants around. Had 3 meals out in the time we have been here and couldn’t fault any of them, great food and lovely atmosphere, not too expensive either.
Not much entertainment at night or day, even no music playing round the pool . The rooms were very standard, could do with a refurbishment. Walls are very thin and the double room was just two single beds pushed together. However having a sea view made up for it.
Would return as for the money we paid it was definitely value
