This is such a wonderful place to go to relax and distress. Forget about The everyday life so many pools for swimming and relaxing different temperatures all of natural sea water!

There are also treatment centres for various needs and the is a natural Suana in a mountain/cave just awesome. Several ice baths! You come out feeling a new person!

Worth a visit if you are looking to reenergise your self. It worth it.

This is a must, a visit to the thermal gardens right on there beach at Forio. You can easily spend the whole day, between the 20 pools ranging up to 28 degree's, sun terraces, restaurants and best beach on Ischia. The whole experience was wonderful.

The entry fee is expensive so I would suggest spending all day here. Also takes over an hour to get here by bus or we took 40 mins by taxi ($45 Euro one way) from the main ferry port.
Lots of people so expect crowds in summer. We went in September when the season was running down but still enough people to fill some of the more popular pools. You can get some quieter parts if you go uphill to the hot tubs (rather than pools). but they are hotter temperatures.
I liked the 28 degree pool but my husband preferred the 26 degree pool but these 2 pools were the sweet spots temperature wise for us and where we spent most of our time.
Also had lunch here which was, cost-wise, a bit more than outside the attraction but good food for what you get. Not good value but not cattle class massed produced rubbish which i am glad.
We can compare to many places we ate in Naples and Sicily which were nicer food and also other places were bad cafeteria food eg in Gole Alcantara. So a welcomed surprise for me that I found the food here to be as good as I did - beyond expectations of a popular hot springs.
Again, you pay for classy surroundings and amenities. There would be cheaper entry at other hot springs in Ischia (?maybe) but here is rated high because they have higher standards of their patrons, clean surroundings and it attracts a better clientele.
Make sure to bring a shower or bathing cap to save you 2 Euro each (hire of cap). We brought the hotel's shower cap x 2.
