We had a beautiful time here and I just wish we had more time!
The water is beautiful, salt water and my skin felt so fresh afterward!
The sauna grotto is magnificent, built into the mountain with extremley stunning views! All in all a most wonderful, happy experience!
Find the baths with the views at the top overlooking the bay!
You must take a swimming cap or you will have to buy one!
Take flipflops and a gown!
Be prepared to stay all day as its worth the time and very relaxing!
Was beautiful at sunset!
Enjoy!

Must see / experience place when in Ischia. The place is huge with about 20 pools and absolutely stunning views. Staff is nice, facilities are spotless clean and so is the heated sea water that is completely changed on a daily basis. They have a nice beach which we did not have time to appreciate more as we spend full day in / around different pools.

Normally 33 Euros for a day ticket, you can get a 3euro discount voucher from your hotel from September onwards and we spent the best part of 7 hours enjoying the Poseidon Thermae Spa for that money.
The complex is vast with the 20 different thermal bathing features and a large beach expanse spread over quite some ground and it’s best to explore a bit away from the entrance area before deciding where to base yourself.
Cannot comment for high season but due to the size of the area and vast number of sun loungers throughout we had no problem finding spare ones in most areas this week and none of the pools felt overly crowded, especially as children under 12 are only allowed in the designated bambino pools on the far side.
The different temperature pools ( getting hotter the higher you climb) are fantastically relaxing, but surprising additional highlights for us included the natural cave sauna (first time to visit one of these and it was a very interesting experience and I would recommend to search it out), and the west facing beach, where the water is calm and the sea is fantastically warm and buoyant. Plus you get a wonderful view of the sunset from the chairs lining the beach.
We chose to eat in the cafe rather than the restaurant and the food was fresh and tasty and reasonably priced.
Swimming caps are compulsory unless you have a full Yul Brynner so bring them if you have them, otherwise they can be purchased. However, we saw all manner of head gear being used on our visit, from shower caps to flat caps.
All in all, we had a great day and I can thoroughly recommend experiencing the fun and games that is the number 2 bus to get almost right to the entrance

A great day out, enjoying the many outdoor pools overlooking the sea. Ask at your hotel reception for a discount voucher (€3) bringing the price down to €30 (well worth it). You will get a wristband on entry which enables you to access the private beach area, where there are deckchairs. Ensure you have some 1 Euro coins for the lockers as the money is retained each time you open it. Inevitably the change machine was not working. You will also need a swimming hat (some wore plastic shower caps) otherwise it is €2 to buy one. Take your own towels or there is a hire fee. Keep some cash for the cafe which does very nice food and drinks. All set to relax in beautiful, well laid out surroundings in the natural geo-thermal pools, ranging in temperatures from the kneipp pool of 15 degrees to the hot 40 degree pool and very pleasant temperatures in between. Don’t miss the natural sauna (actually more of a steam room) at the top where the hottest waters creates hot vapour in a cave area. All in all a memorable holiday experience, highly recommended.
