The room was beautifully appointed with dark wood cabinetry, furniture. Towels were changed daily. Floors were dusty with a lot of dark hair. Ceiling fan blades were loaded with dust, dusty shelves, toilet brush holder had crusted-on dirt.

Room tip: Take cleaning supplies and a broom. Ask them to check the AC filter before you arrive.

My adult son and I spent three wonderful nights in a “casita” (cottage) during the latter half of October 2021. The accommodations certainly deserve a Five Star rating. The very quiet room was decorated in rustic, Southwestern style with a king size bed, a fold-out couch, a table for four with matching chairs, and a nightstand with a lamp at each side of the bed. A small kitchenette had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. Even with the couch made into a bed the room felt quite spacious, and the bathroom was large, with a shower about four feet by ten. The room was quiet, and everything was clean and looked like new. Everyone from the woman who took reservations to the greeter and a man who seemed to feel a responsibility for maintenance took care to see that we were comfortable. We would be quite happy to stay there again.

A delightful place to stay in a remote area. Very close to Big Bend NP. There was a mix up with the people staying in our cabin before us so the owners upgraded us to a Casita. Everything was very nice. There is no TV but the wifi is good. A food truck across the road was good for supper and Cottonwood store could provide anything you need.

We stayed in the Emory Suite during our stay. The suite was spacious and well-appointed. The a/c worked great and there were even two ceiling fans! The bed and linens were very comfortable, we slept great. The service was perfect. We would definitely stay there again!

I stayed in the “inn” park of the RV park and it did not disappoint. The room was pleasant and inviting. The bathroom featured a rain head shower which was great after visiting Big Bend Park. I would also suggest going to the hot springs at the park. Well worth the drive.
