In all fairness, we arrived at 2:15 pm not realizing the lunch buffet was over at 2:30 pm. The food was decent. Not fantastic - just average. The floor was sticky and was a bit offputting. We might try it again at an early time, but I doubt it.

I liked this place for a good Indian buffet, spacious place, very well maintained and a decent spread. The last two visits I was turned back coz they had rented out the whole place for party. I stopped going there since

One of the restaurants where you enter and want to leave because of such a dirty furniture. Feels very unhygienic, kids who grow up in USA don't want to touch anything here. Food quality is ok, nothing great.

Spur of the moment visit, as I hadn't been to the original Madras Pavilion in a long time. The first hint was the empty parking lot, although more people did come in. Service was impeccable and warm, and the buffet was quite extensive. Dosa and naan came with it. I was surprised to find meat, as the original restaurant was vegetarian. This was just what I wanted and was quite enjoyable, although it had nothing out of the ordinary. Given the Indian population in Sugar Land, they probably need to do better.
