The char-grilled oysters are amazing and the Happy Hour can't be beat. Great atmosphere and outdoor seating makes this perfect date place.

Had seafood and sausage gumbo, blackened salmon with crab and creme brûlée. All were wonderful. Service was great, enjoyed a leisurely lunch with my friend.

The menu at Rouxpour has a lot of the types of food you would expect from a New Orleans restaurant. The food itself just doesn't always deliver. The chicken & sausage gumbo comes off bland and under-seasoned, but the shrimp gumbo is better. The fried shrimp platter was probably the best thing we've had here, but even that is a bit under-seasoned. All in all, the food is just OK.

We go to The Rouxpour when we have tickets to the Smart Financial Centre. It's a great location to the center and we out in time to see our concerts. This time we had the trio appetizer and crab cakes. The shrimp were huge and the oysters and lump crab meat were sweet and delicious. The crab cakes came with a really good remoulade sauce, I even dipped the garlic bread in it.

Our server could not have been nicer. She made fresh coffee for my Mom, which is always a plus. We'll be back on our way to the next concert.

It is best to try the food with lunch specials. Cheaper and you could order more diverse options for your budget. Fresh oysters, poboys, bread pudding, gumbo are a few. Very nice classy decor and welcoming staff.
