We stopped by on a getaway weekend. This winery is very popular, it was quite busy when we were there. We loved the atmosphere. Great place to taste the wines and relax. We joined the wine club. Highly recommend this place!

The estate is so pretty and peaceful. Great views of the land and vineyards and a couple of reds that were good. Great place to visit with friends.

We stopped in for a tasting and glass of wine on a busy Saturday. The staff were as attentive as they could possibly be during a busy time. The wine was good. The tasting room was very nice. There was a band playing in another room which didn't have any tables available so we didn't get a chance to check it out. They were also offering a glass of sparkling wine at sunset but we were there earlier.

There aren't a ton of wineries in North Texas. I'd rate this one pretty highly in that mix. We'll be back for another visit.

Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for visiting Blue Ostrich over the holiday season. Hope you'll come back in the spring or summer when things are a little more "green" around here. Cheers!

One of the nicer wineries in the area. I can’t say we like every wine we taste at every winery but we liked most of them here. The tasting room staff was friendly and told us about their wines. I think their wine prices were a bit high and their glass sizes were a bit small. However most of them were tasty.

They have a nice pavilion on the side which is set up well to block the wind. There is a nice view of the vines. You can also walk a bit and see the ostriches that are on the property. Don’t get too close to them and watch out for ants and even snakes near the pond. I never saw the latter but there were signs warning you.

All in all, this winery had a great view and it’s a nice place to bring a picnic lunch.
