Great site and massive views from the dunes.
Make sure you walk with and not against the wind otherwise you will be chewing sand for a week

Loved walking through the sand dunes of Maspalomas! Be ready for a lot of sand and wind as the sand is very loose and the wind can be quite strong. We walked to Meloneras from Playa del Ingles (where we were staying), and took the bus back because the walk took us over an hour and by the time we wanted to go back it was during the hottest hours of the day. When you walk to Meloneras like us, it is nice to check out one of the restaurants or ice cream shops!

Such a pretty sight, took some amazing pictures. It is close by hotel Riu and the other resorts, just a beautiful view.

Me and my husband visited whilst on our mini moon. Went in the morning whilst the sun wasn’t too hot for a couple of ours and just walked up and down the dunes, absolutely stunning, I managed in sandals but the sand wasn’t too hot at the point, husband had trainers on. So be aware of the nudist beach! And take lots of water even if you don’t plan to stay for long, it gets very hot when there’s. I wind!
