Stayed at these apartments for three nights, with 2 of my girlfriends in a one bedroom apartment. Lovely and clean comfortable room. Kitchen had everything you’d need. The pool was lovely and clean, never had a problem getting a sun bed, the lady life guard would come around asking if we wanted a mattress for sun lounger for a couple of Euro each. The pool bar was a really nice area, servicing “buckets” of beer which I think was equivalent to pint and a half of beer, reasonably priced.
Really good location, short walk to the beach and some lovely bars and restaurants around the Marina. The square wasn’t far either if your after a bit of a more livelier night. If your a group of girls be prepared to share only one mirror which was in the bathroom, could do with another in the bedroom but it still wasn’t that much of a problem. Overall a really enjoyable stay.

Stayed here at the end of March with my Sister for five Days and actually got a lucky few days of Sunshine. Room basic but clean. Great location close to Marina and near the 24 hour square ( five minute walk ) shops, pubs all close by. Torremolinos isn't a far walk from here either, worth a visit but a bit more ran down then Benalmadena.Train station only a quick taxi ride away but could walk it. Our Balcony was facing a busy road but didn't bother us. I Can't comment on pool or pool bar as didn't bother with it as was always out and about and not sure if pool was even open then. Receptionists were friendly enough no hassle staying here at all, cheap and cheerful. I Would most definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 5 nights and not once did our rooms get cleaned!!!!! We had to complain at reception and ask for clean towels, they made out it was a misunderstanding .
We were in rooms 314 and 316 so had to put up with the noise from room 315 til all hours. Can't believe they have a dog that's left in there on its own all day
The pool area is clean and the staff are friendly enough.
The size of room was great but just dirty.
Would stay again but insist on a room clean instead of letting it go like we did this time.
Location is great and there's a handy shop right next door, but dont expect any manners from them as they are rude and ignorant

Room Tip: Avoid rooms near 315

After a disastrous couple of nights in a nearby apartment we checked into the ALAY Apartments with very short notice. The reception staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and always with a smile to greet guests. The room was spotless and during our 5 night stay it was cleaned twice. The cleaning staff were also very efficient and friendly. The pool area was well maintained with 2-3 lifeguards on duty at all times. The location was excellent within a five minute walk to the Marina.

Directly accross the road is a great small Irish bar called Molly's and is run by Carlow man Killian who was very chatty and good fun, it's a must visit pub.

Also if you turn left there is a cafe 2 minutes away called the Sea Horse which does a great reasonably priced breakfast and again the staff were great.

A local Chinese restaurant called Water Margin is well worth a visit along with Mister Noodles for either eat in or take away

First impression was a spotless room. It was cleaned three times within one week. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. My husband and I had a studio and it was a great size. Nice pool area. You pay for WiFi , TV remote and safety deposit box but get 20 Euro back when leaving. It is not expensive. We were facing the pool but sun only shines on balcony till about 11 in the morning but that didn’t bother us too much. Our room had no hairdryer. It did have a kettle and toaster. The location was very good. A few downfalls would be that eventhough they had poolside bar the chef didn’t seem to turn up too early but it’s not too much of a big deal. The corridors do echo. Our first night had a very loud bunch of lads at the very early hours of the morning but they went home the following day. Overall we did enjoy our stay
