We loved it here. Water park was great. Food was great. Hotel looks amazing. Only problem is it is a little far away from anything and we like to walk out and about but there wasn’t anywhere to do this.

Security is great feel secure and safe in resort

Reception staff friendly

Food could be better for a 4star everyone has different tastes

Lifeguards are great
My little girl went out of her boundaries and before I could get to her lifeguard was straight in the pool

Animation team
Are great could do with better costumes

Rooms
Lovely room
Very clean
Cleaned every day
Huge comfy bed
2X adult 3x child
If u don’t like heights I would recommend asking for ground floor as very high

Entertainment at night was brilliant something different every night for both adults and children

Loungers are one position flat
Ice cream tubs kids loved them

Beach 10 minute drive never walked so don’t know how long think there may be a bus

Loungers €4 to rent all day depends where you sit but if u are the right side on public toilets the man who takes care of the lounges has toys for kids at no extra cost and is really friendly

Water park is at bottom near front gates quite a walk
All inclusive drinks and ice cream
Have to pay for food
Rings are hire €14 deposit €6 rent
Hired car for €142 3 days with car seat

Kids club 10-2 -3-6
Aged 3 above

Aqualand
20 minute drive
Life guards really do there job there

Food is expensive so bring own food
Beers €3.90

Car hire is worth booking
Blue lines pay to park
Yellow no parking
white lines free

Pool is secured with a mesh fencing round at night (7pm closed) which is great for families with young children so u can relax at the bar and not worrying about children falling in

Would stay again

Bungee is €4 trampoline €2
Which is a shame when u pay for all inclusive u expect things like this to be included

I’ve never stayed in such a grand design hotel. The reception, the lobbies and layout blew us away when we arrived. It’s massive and so many areas to looks round.
Our room too was huge’ amazing apartment with a huge balcony’ beds was a little hard but never gave me an issue and I suffer with Sciatica. Kitchen in the main room with a kettle great for a cuppa sofa & tv in lounge area. The bathroom was another wow! Huge Bath and power shower which was better than mine at home lol rooms cleaned daily and always up to a great standard. HairDryer there too...
The Pool area to the Polynesia was great’ lovely area to sunbathe and a big pool for the kids. Some entertainment around the pool but I’ve stayed in hotels where they provide a lot more so I noticed the lack of this in the day.. and the sun beds was uncomfortable too BUT...
The Beach Club was my favourite place of all the complex. Wow! Amazing pools with great features and activities there. The jacuzzi sun beds up the top are wow!! Never tried the wave pool but it looked great fun..
There is a free shuttle bus that goes up and down the hill all day’ so no troubles getting there. Spent more time here than the main hotel Pool really.. same uncomfortable sunbeds tho you get your drinks free here if your all Inclusive but not Food unless u pre arranged it all day before..
In the hotel there is a supermarket, kids club, amusements and Bowling area, oh and a Spa’ it looked amazing, friends of ours went in and said it was really nice! U do have to pay for the spa tho..

The only reason I didn’t give this hotel 5 stars was the evening entertainment.. it didn’t start till 9.45 and with little ones it’s a bit late, and also the acts they had on after weren’t that great There is a Bar downstairs which is indoors and they had a singer most nights’ but the kids want a disco etc!
Also the location of the hotel isn’t great’ no shops or bars within walking distance. I missed not being able to go for a stroll around the NikNak shops everything was a walk to the bus stop (the hill is steep coming back) or a Taxi. So that was a shame.
We did find one Bar called The Shack (to right of round about by Beach Club) this was a lovely little retreat’ deffo worth a visit.
Never had an issue with any of the food in the restaurants my Boyfriend loved the amount of Seafood available each day.
All staff work hard to accommodate everyone and people’s needs too.
I’d deffo return to this hotel

Note: Review updated throughout stay. In a nutshell (then detailed):
Pros: impressive looking hotel, spacious and clean rooms, clean pool with attentive lifeguards, good water park, nice beach, great kids club.
Cons: ques (for everything!!), Poor nighttime entertainment, food basic and repetitive, back aching sun loungers, location not the best for young families oh...and the gastroenteritis!

Arrival: not too lengthy transfer, really impressive reception area, took ages to check in but there was a large group that arrived on the same transfer so to be expected.
Room: Really spacious junior apartment, ample room for 2 adults, an 8, 6 and 2 year old. Very clean with self catering facilities which was added bonus.
Pool: ideal for our kids ages, lifeguards were great and took their work seriously. One of them administered first aid to my eldest's cut foot excellently.
Waterpark (Beach club): Again, kept our lot ammused, although very busy. Wave pool was excellent (only for strong swimmers though). You have to pre-book restaurant the day before to eat at waterpark. Only reason it's worth booking in to is convenience, actual dining experience there was dreadful (massive ques for food, sooo noisey and was like a food fight at desert counter!).
Beach: 10 min walk from hotel, excellent clean sandy beach. Lucky lucky men lacked any banter lol.
Location: splash park and beach in walking distance, other than that it's local buses and taxis (which I'm not keen on as find it stressful with 3 young'ns).
Food: acceptable all inclusive quality food. I mainly went for meat and salad, kids favoured hot dog sausages, pizza etc. Other reviewers have likened meal time to 'feeding time at the Zoo', I can confirm that this is a good comparison but as I have raised 3 chimp-like, hungry, messy kids this was acceptable. It would be less acceptable if you were a couple after a romantic meal. The restaurants that you could book into were nothing special but made a change as, after 10 nights, the buffet was becoming very repetitive.
Ques: be prepared to spend a good portion of your holiday in a que!! For reception (no matter what time), for TUI rep, for pool side drinks (usually 6/7 in que at any time), for lunch /dinner, for evening trampolines: (additional cost of 4 euro each, I spent an entire evening in the que for my child to have 1 go- it was near the bar which made it bearable).
Nighttime entertainment: didn't start while 9, kids disco was lame (even by my 2 year olds standards!) Magician on night 1 was good, lizard and bird show were good for 15 minutes followed by pushy sales (and ques!) to have picture with the animal. If ou don't pay 10 euro for a picture, your child doesn't hold the animal, try explaining that to a 6 year old . On 3 nights the hotel was holding private functions so hotel guests were herded into a small bar area and forgotten about.

Gastrentitus: on day 8 my 2 year old daughter became ill with gastroenteritis. We'd only ever eaten at the hotel throughout the visit so I'm assuming it's linked. I payed 110 euro for a doctor to attend my apartment (arranged by TUI rep), doctor took 10 minutes to suggest we take her to hospital of his choice via taxi, once she was stable they told us that it was a private hospital and cost 800 euro a night!! Pay or get her moved to Malaga general hospital immediately! We stayed and fortunately, she recovered enough for us to fly home on time, but it clearly overshadowed the holiday.

Verdict: The hotel does have its positives, it looks great, it's relatively clean and generally the staff were friendly and helpful. Having said that, the excessive queing (not even in peak season), the repetitive (often bland) buffet selection, the need to get a taxi anywhere other than the water park/ beach and the incident with my daughter means I wouldn't recommend this place.
