It took a while for our large party to be seated not having called ahead, but once seated we were greeted and received beverages. Food arrived and was quite tasty. A few items were not hot upon arrival, but were quickly exchanged.

First, the building is over 100 years old. How we got interested in trying this place is on our way to church. We saw a lot people going in.
The place got its own quaint old town feel. Upon entering they sell things made by artisans making bags, candles etc. Did not look closely, but surely no made in china product.
We got seated by the window, the inside restaurant got decors suited for the ambience the owner wants recreate. I felt very differently when one eats at the chain restaurant.
I had the chop breakfast while my son got the chicken. The pork chops was not fried but grilled. Included in my breakfast was 2 large pancake (pecan), country potato and bread. I was surprised and delighted with my grilled pork chop. It smelled delicious and tender when i started eating. The flavour was nice. The place was not michellin star or that of a restaurant chain. The food was in between the two kind of resto. It may not be the best but the total feel of small town place cafe did the place good.
On my uploaded pics, you will see what we had. Some reviews say the food was jot the greatest, but for the total effect to the cafe, id say it was not bad.

Read the reviews and thought we’d give it a try. The decor was very nice. The food was not so nice. The ham and cheese omelette was missing the cheese and was over cooked and dried out. The sausage was not breakfast sausage. The bacon was good. The toast was cold. Coffee was just ok. My husband had the blueberry pancakes which were excellent. The breakfast potatoes weren’t very good either. Waitress forgot to bring food items that were included in the menu listing. There is room for improvement here.

This is a real hidden gem. The place serves a great breakfast and the rest of the food is good also. Worth a visit. You just have to find it.

We've eaten there often, and certainly will continue to do so. When the kitchen is on it's game, the food can be excellent. Other days, it's only average, and no special bargain. The reuben sandwich, the hamburger steak and the nachos are favorites.
