We ordered three different entrees to go. The food was hot and very well seasoned and cooked. The estimated pickup time was within 5 minutes. We were all very satisfied with selection we made.

very family-friendly seafood joint here in Humble. Huge menu, decent wine list, fun cocktails. Seafood fresh and good. We had oysters (blue point - still not feeling great about Gulf oysters, iced shrimp, crawfish bisque, gumbo, seafood cobb, tilapia. Everyone was happy with their choices (the gumbo has deep flavor.) Always crowded - make a res. Server a bit overwhelmed but tried (we were a group of 8 including one baby and two toddlers so we may have presented a challenge.)

I had the Talapi Lafettee and it was superb. My wife ordered the Texas Redfish (blackened) Amor was also superb. The brown butter sauce is delicious. The creme brulee and cheese cake was the finest. Our waitress, Alicia, was very knowledgeable and very helpful with the menu. She was cheerfully responded to all of our requests and she was very attentive in motoring our table. This dining experience was far above our wildest ecpectations. We will definitely return on our next visit to this area.

We have been going to Pappa Seafood for over 30 years. Originally the hostess and the servers used to remember the regular customers, that doesn't always happen anymore, especially the hostesses who are too busy talking amongst themselves. The food is still very good, but not consistently the same depending on the day of the week you go. Prices have continuing gone up till they are the same as a high end restaurant, without the high end atmosphere. The restaurant is also so very loud that it is hard to carry on a conversation.

We like going to Papa's because the food is so good, and usually the service is excellent but on this particular night (09/22/17) the service was terrible. And the noise level was unbelievably loud! You couldn't enjoy the food because of the noise. But the food we had was good although it took a long time to get served.
