I booked this motel because I found a deal on Booking.com for $50 per night. The room was larger than expected; it had a seating area with a couch, 2 king beds, a full kitchenette, and bathroom. The lock on the door didn't seem very secure, but nothing bad happened. Just don't count on the breakfast, not much is available.

We were in town for a week marshaling for the Houston open. These folks were delightful! I room with a bang. A lot of apartments in New York City! Full sized fridge! The room we had was upstairs. Well worth the trip! Enjoy your stay

Room tip: Ask for a room upstairs- amazing!

This is the seventh time for me to stay in this house hotel in four years in row

1- I just love this place and it keeps returning me back from my country. Surrounded by trees and nicely arranged plant decorations
2- I must say that the hotel manager is doing his best to fulfil the needs of the hotel customers
3- things have improved since my last stay one year ago
4- the best thing about this hotel is its very near location to the airport and interstate highway 59/69. And it is close to all attractions
5- don't think about having a continental breakfast because you won't. You have a choice of an apple or a banana and a bowl of cereal and a coffee along with a sweet pastry. That's it
6- cleaning ladies don't speak fluent English but they are good honest people and they do their work better if you tell them what you want

1- The front room doors need to be repaired to get a better insulation because I get mosquitos and any kind of outside air coming/flowing in continuously. Besides you can hear sounds of all sorts and get bothered by that specially at night when you are asleep

2- I think the carpet needs to be replaced because it may harbour some kinds insects that live there

3- The toilet's exhaust fan is too noisy and I only work for a few minutes in the fear of bothering my neighbors

Room tip: Rooms closer to the management are closer to the laundry room

Although the rooms have a bit of a musty smell, they are pretty good size, have a fridge & a nice flat screen TV. Beds were moderately comfortable, and the units are single story so there's nobody making noise above. If it weren't for the good pricing, we probably wouldn't have stayed here, but we would stay again under the same circumstances.

Regency Inn and Hotel
7700 Will Clayton Prkway
Humble, Texas

It's time to talk about hotel management.

The owner and his wife (( I think, are managing this hotel franchise), and they such nice people and cooperative. That in my opinion was not enough to see to it to get things done the right way.

Positive points:
1- Ten minutes away from airport
2- close to the highway and other amenities; shops and malls
3- The kitchenette was a great idea for the long time stay for the traveller which had full kitchen ware such a large fridge and oven and a microwave and lots of wall and floor cabinets
4- Large rooms with large beds and a sizeable couch which was enough for a family of four or five
5- The bathroom was fairly large and some rooms rooms had jacuzzi bath.

Undesirable points:
1- Watch for the "pee" smelling bed covers because they don't seem to have been washed for decades.
2- Let not The false claim of high speed internet fool you, it's not or anything like it.
3- Internet cut off within seconds if you don't use for that particular period which means you can't send messages by Whatsapp and leave surfing the net
4- You have to log in several times to be able to continue using the net
5- If you move about inside the room the service is cut off
6- Your phone service can in no way be usable inside, you have to move away from the room to the parking lot to be able to use it
7- Cleaning lady did not vacuum clean carpet at all during my one month stay in the hotel. And here is my proof:

Since September 29, I placed a piece of paper tissue near upper left corner of the bed, it was very obvious but only on October17th it was removed.

8- Dirt was found every where
All the focus of the cleaning lady was laid on changing bed sheets and tidying them

9- Terrible continental breakfast compared to other hotels I recently visited.
9-1- At any time in the morning I could spot three just "about-to-decay" apples and two or four bananas offered in the morning.
9-2- The only thing I could see in the fridge was a 1/4 filled plastic gallon of milk. One day the milk was not replaced even though it was beyond the expiry day
9-3- Coffee was the worst thing in the lounge
9-4- Even though there were plenty if plastic bowls and cups and spoons and forks along with napkins, the amount of food choices were very very limited.

10- The bathroom did not provide paper tissues but only toilet paper

11- Cleaning ladies were suspicious if you kinda want to ask for something with a smile

12- The hotel manager charged us 72$/night/room for the first 5 nights while on the ( Priceline ) website it was 55$/night/room.
But the manager offered me a very low price for a whole month of stay

13- As with all similar motels or hotels of this type you may run across very noisy neighbours and you may as well get exposed to the car exhaust fumes if your neighbour forgets his car running for a while

Room tip: One night traveller ok, but otherwise NO
