We have traveled A LOT for business over the years, all over the world and have stayed in many 5 star hotels over the years

On this trip we had our little girls with us as well. This hotel is all about their people! Every staff member we met from front desk to cleaning staff to valet was very good at what they do. They clearly genuinely cared about the hotel, and our experience while we were guests. We noticed. It matters. It makes you stand apart.

The new restaurant and bar was very nice. We had our daughters with us for at least 2 meals and we all felt equally as welcome. The food and service was very well done. Amazing how polished it was actually given the restaurant is still fairly new.

At the end of most trips my girls are ready to go home. This time? They had no interest in leaving. We look forward to returning. Thank you for doing what you do so well.

We stayed here for a few days while attending a wedding event. Pricy, but worth it. Beautiful facility. By day four, when there was no one at the front door briefly, I had to open my own door. The only time. I know, first world problems :) - Definitely stay here. Worth every penny.

Stayed here for a work conference. The way to get to the first floor by taking a staircase to the second floor then an elevator to the first floor is a bit odd. The rooms were large and comfortable. The attention to detail with the chocolates and card telling you the next day's weather was nice. The "Sidewalk Judge" sculpture out front is a bit disconcerting when you leave for a morning run in the dark.

My husband and I always stay at The Houstonian Hotel for our anniversary weekend. The food in The Olivette Restaurant is impeccable, and the service is the best. We are treated like royalty every time we stay here, and the ambiance and amenities can't be beat. This is the best hotel in Houston!

There are plenty health opportunities available here. Pool, walk /jog, etc. Room perhaps a bit of fashioned but neat and tidy. Enjoyed my stay, staff is very friendly. Good shuttle service. But expensive though imho
