I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with my recent stay at Days Inn and Suites Hobby Airport. First of all, I attempted to check in about 45 minutes before check-in. The clerk indicated that the room wasn't ready and would be about 10 minutes: however she still gave me the room key......so that was not a problem. I was traveling with three teenage girls and had to get them lunch so we returned about 45 minutes later only to discover that the sheets were changed; however, the room had not been vaccuumed: tissue holder had not been filled; toilet paper was from the previous guest and the sheets and one of the pillow cases had stains. I stopped the housekeeper outside the room and asked if she could vaccuum the room; which she did only in the spot where I showed her there was gum. She did not vaccuum the entire room which still had remnants from the previous guest. She had a very bad disposition and somewhat rude. I immediately went to the office and expressed my concerns to the auditor which said the stains were probably from the paint...yea rite red paint?
The next day my room was not cleaned AT ALL; no fresh towels...nothing. Keep in mind we were 4 individuals in this room. I went to the office and the arrogant auditor indicated since I had a sign on my door the housekeeper did not clean it. They finish cleaning rooms at noon. Well, the DO NOT disturb sign was removed about 10:30 because we left the premises at 10:30. So it's hard to understand if I attempted to check in at 2:15 the day before and the room wasn't ready, why all of a sudden housekeeping leaves at noon on a Monday? Ummm🤔
In conclusion, I will NEVER stay at this Days Inn again. I would prefer to spend a little more money and get quality service.
