Good Eats was the highest recommended restaurant near our hotel by IAH, and it didn’t disappoint. Everything from the calamari, to pot roast, and chicken dishes were great, but the Salmon was melt in your mouth good. All the dishes were really great and our waiter and I believe the manager on duty were really friendly and helpful. We also received 15% discount for staying at our hotel. I don’t know if they do this for all the hotel airports but it was a great benefit.

The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. Staff was a little slow, had to wait too long for our check.

Got stuck in Houston overnight, and through recommendations, ended up eating here. When you first enter, the decor seems very outdated and gloomy. In spite of this, I stayed and had a bowl of chili (nothing to write home about), but their TENDERLOIN SALAD WAS AWESOME! The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and very flavorful on a bed of leafy greens. Pretty large portion too! The fountain soda was also endless and their cornbread pretty decent!

I recommend this place

We knew the service here was unbelievably slow, from a prior visit. So we went about 2 hours early for dinner, and the place was almost empty on a weekend. Service was still a little slow, but not too bad because we were seated within sight of the kitchen door. Food was delicious. We tried about 4 of their dishes, and everything was very tasty. Really enjoyed their huge cheddar burger. Kids meals include entree, tiny desert (ours was applesauce, not a "frozen treat" as described on menu), and a drink, for $4.89 - choices are like...burger, 2 large tenders, a tiny pizza, etc.

We tired this Grill on the recommendation of a friend and they were SO right! Delicious food, served pipping hot by a great staff! Even the desserts were yummy, although we had to take them home - too full to eat them there! The prices were very reasonable.
