Description: The toast of the Texas coast. How can frozen fish be called fresh? The answer for anyone with snap is simple: it can’t. That’s why Gaido’s is the classic choice for fresh Gulf seafood. Patrons know Gaido’s is real, when others are clearly not. From red snapper and blue crab to white tablecloths crumbed with panache, there’s no denying Gaido’s is one-of-a-kind in a world of imitation. Now, after four generations of filleting, frying, grilling and baking, Gaido’s has grown into the picture perfect place of traditions– birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, reunions. As the largest fresh fish house on the coast, Gaido’s can serve up to 2,500 happy diners a day. -– for over 100 years – is truly the coastal classic.

This place is fantastic. The staff was friendly, service was top notch, and the food was excellent. Our server, Thomas, was cool, knowledgeable, and very eager to answer our questions. Red Snapper Michael was the best snapper was the best I've ever had. My wife had Redfish on the halfshell & loved it. Crab Mac & Cheese is also a must. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience. My family came down for the weekend to celebrate one of my sister's birthday. We decided to go out to dinner at the last minute and all agreed on Gaido's. We made a reservation online and got there at 4:00. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted and thanked for coming in. After being shown to our table, we were greeted by Vince.. What a wonderful, upbeat and very knowledgable man. He told us all about the specials and was very attentive to our needs. We was fun loving and laughed at all our corny jokes. He was very professional. We asked a question about the crab.. He wasn't sure of the answer, but he found out and came outside where we were all standing to say our goodbye's and let us know the answer. We will be back.. I live in Seabrook and my family came from Dallas to enjoy the weekend..

I've been visiting this restaurant for 50+ years, it's as good as ever! Our party ranged in ages from 7-90 and we all enjoyed the whole dining experience. Our waiter, Michael K. was wonderful, he couldn't have been better.

This is our favorite spot to eat in Galveston. I had the red fish on the half shell and it was to die for. We shared the pecan crunch that was also worth the calories. We will be back!
