I do like the bench, friendly fun and entertaining staff. Beautiful surroundings Good Food really good wine. If you think of yourself as a bit of a wine connoisseur, this place is highly recommended to yourself as there's lots of different types of fine wines. Lads this is a brilliant place to take the other half for a perfect night out without the drunks or interruptions

Came here for tapas when it first opened and said we wouldn't be back. However, we had heard a few good things recently and we decided to try it again. Big mistake, for us anyway, I think it's one of those venues that you either love or hate... Service and customer relations leave a lot to be desired. We were told after a good 5 minutes wait to be seated that we only had an hour and an a half at the table and told that if we didn't get our dessert by then that we could have another table set up outside... not a good start, especially as the time we arrived most of the tables were empty. We went on Sunday afternoon for a fathers day roast as a party of 3 couples. No other option on the menu apart from sharing boards for the whole party. This also did not bode well, one of the party was allergic to cheese and with a couple of fussier eaters too, we like to choose our food individually, so it was a case of compromising on choices. We asked to have 3 boards so we only shared with our respective partners and this seemed to be a bit of an issue, but the waiter assured us it would be fine once he explained to the kitchen. The starters came out wrong and also as a 4+ 2 sharing boards. We had to wait for another board to be prepared, (bearing in mind that the time spent waiting was eating into our 90 minute table allocation). The starters were ok, edible, but very bland. The main course also came out as a large sharing board and we had a further wait. When our food did arrive, to be honest it looked like a car crash, the food was just piled high on a bread board, there were no serving spoons, you had to transfer it to your own plate with your knife and fork and the plates were stone cold. The beef would've been ok had it been hot, the pork we had on the 3 boards was very hit and miss, some were cold, some hot, some good and some dry. Veggies again were mixed, some undercooked, some overcooked. We did speak to management and they did void our main course off of the bill. But at the end of the day, we went out for a relaxing lunch and felt rushed and would rather have had a lovely meal and happily pay for it, than to leave early very disappointed and hungry.

Popped in for a lunch after being recommended. Only one table occupied, which we thought was odd.
Waiter greeted us in a dirty shirt and trousers, raised eyebrows as they only had one table. Then the chef came out in a filthy apron. Refused to stay and eat so we left! Come on, get your presentation in order. I don’t want to eat if you can’t even wear clean clothes, what’s the kitchen like????????

Will definitely be coming back here again, the food was lovely.

Only minor criticism was how long it took to get our first drinks.
