This place is run down and expensive. My room stunk like a musty basement. The bedding smelled dirty, the furniture is old, the place has not been updated in a long time. The grounds were littered with cigarette butts. For what they charge this place should be in much better shape. I would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the camp ground

room was nice and cold......especially on hot summer nights ...we stayed 2 nights..owner and lady in front desk made us feel very welcome.....we would stay there again....we asked for extra towels and they brought them to us right away.not to many motels in Bandera so you can't be to picky....the Mexican restaurant next to it had very good food and doughnut shop next door....it was convenient

Me and a mate stopped here for 1 night whilst exploring the amazing town of Bandera. We went to a couple of motels before, one did not even bother to show up (the lodges down the hill, forgot it's name) and one was too expensive and would not come down in price, so we pulled here and got a good deal.

It's about a 10-15 minute walk depending on how fast you walk, to the main part, where we went to this bar in the evening, and had such a great time with the locals.

The woman at the front desk, was really nice, and I would recommend this place. The bedroom was basic, bathroom was not amazing, bed felt partially broken at the bottom, but overall I liked it here, and would come back if staying at Bandera again.

Property NOT maintained. Very poor condition. One plate-glass window on the dining room (which is closed) was covered with particle board. The window would not lock, and there were no window screens on several rooms, so anyone could slide the window open and access the room. Property is dirty, and the restroom available for guests doesn't even have an interior entrance. You have to walk out of the lobby and across a breezeway. AND IT WAS DIRTY. Our rate was ninety nine, which was crazy for the accommodation. The only good thing about this property was the lady at the desk.

Room Tip: There is not a good room.
