Helpful and attentive host who even assisted with my baggage. Great breakfast with prompt, cheerful service. Clean, comfortable rooms with an old fashioned, high ceiling feel. Serene back yard. Great base for wine tours or sight seeing.

Room Tip: Rooms upstairs at the back will be quieter and give you marvellous views over the valley.

We stayed here as part of a group for family reunion. The rooms were well appointed and had everything you would expect for a B&B. Small lounge area where we could suit as a group and chat. Breakfast was simple but all we needed. Close to many restaurants, wineries and attractions.

We stayed here as we had a family wedding close by. Great place, lovely clean & comfortable rooms. Our children & 3 young grandchildren had the penthouse suite, plenty of room Breakfast, delicious. Would have been nice to stay longer & relax.

Booked this for us and our friends as we had a wedding in Yarra Glen. Nice old building, very typical of the area. Room was very old fashioned but very clean. The fold out bed couch was pretty uncomfortable for our friends to sleep on, might be time for an update. Owner was friendly and helpful on check-in, and the rest of the communal areas were spotless. The real gem was the pantry and fridge stocked full of food for breakfast. After an 'enthusiastic' night partying at the wedding it was a welcome relief to have a big breakfast the next morning.
Overall good spot in an area without as many options as in a big city, but definitely falls into the more niche B&B old-fashioned type accommodation so younger couples might not be as enamoured as older couples.

We had 4 nights here as we were in the area for a wedding. Dave who runs the place is very helpful even got the car out when a bus didn't arrive to take us to the wedding. It has everything you would expect of a B&B along with an honesty good value bar and a pool table. Lots of places to relax inside and out. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked to order. The only downside was the size of the room. With 3 weeks worth of luggage it was bit of a tight squeeze. Spotlessly clean throughout and the bathroom and shower were excellent.
