The visitor information centre in Warburton is a wealth of information. There is a small gift shop, a counter with helpful staff to answer questions and tell you places to visit, nice toilets, and there is even small kitchen bench where you can make your own tea of coffee. There is also a small and immersive museum display of animals of the area presented in a children friendly 3D manner. Definitely worth a visit if your are travelling around the area.

Situated in the famous waterwheel building, a little difficult to find parking on the main street and close to the centre. For young kids, the 'cave' entrance to habitat indoor forest discovery looked pretty exciting. Also a small art gallery.

We visited the information centre on Friday 23rd June. The gentleman who provided us with information of the area was very informative and knowledgable. The centre had good displays of produce from the Warburton area

Much bigger inside than I thought. An excellent animal display. The staff were were very friendly and knowledgeable. Make sure you see the pictures on the wall alongside the old railway track.

This is a really well layed out visitors centre. It is high on the hill in the main street taking in the views as well as the Warburton shopping strip. The centre has a huge range of information brochures as well as Customer Service if required.
They also have a huge range of hand made items from local producers for sale as well as local wine. There is a small art gallery with pictures for sale.
For the young children there is an indoor forest called Platypus Walk for them to enjoy. I thought this display was excellent.
Outside next to the centre is a wall of murals lining the old railway platform. Each picture displays a story to the Warburton towns history.
Well worth a visit to the centre and the mural wall.
