Excellent coffee, luscious custard brioche and friendly service on this winter’s day. The cosy fire was an unexpected bonus. The abundant jazz posters and instruments on the walls made for interesting conversation. I only wish we had been there on a Sunday to enjoy the live jazz! There is also a well stocked deli pantry and specialist kitchenware shop which inspires creative cooks and budding gourmands. The Japanese salt shaver was an astonishing find. Highly recommend.

Called in for lunch at balnaring .What a find the place was packed with a jazz band playing. The lady found us a nice little table and we settled into a few drinks before lunch. The menu is not extensive however there is pleny to choose from which all meals are reasonable priced also the beers and wine.Ray the owner came out and played in the band he is an excellent trumpet player.and mingled with the crowd afterwards we bought some chicken and chardonay pies to take home along with his bread all were fantastic. There is also a great deli in the bakery
We will definately be back

You know that feeling when you get excited about showing someone a great place and they let you down big time? I was taking my Mother on a Sunday drive down the Peninsula and told her she Had To try a Duck and Five Spice Pie from this fantastic bakery in Red Hill...Well I drove out of our way to get there and we arrived just after twelve noon to be told The Duck and Five Spice Pies were still in the oven and would be 20 minutes , so we went for a Builders Pie and a Chunky Beef.. Both disappointing and were repeating on us all the way home. Thank goodness for Enos. I visit the area regularly for work , but I will find somewhere else from now on..

We love spending a few hours on a Sunday at the Red Hill Bakery in Balnarring, having lunch and listening to the music. It's such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with delicious meals and a glass of wine in somewhat rustic surroundings. We have been going there for a few years now and always look forward to the next one... Fabulous little spot...

Was passing by on the way to Arthur’s Seat, had heard this place did great pies so we thought we’d try them out. Ordered a Lamb and Rosemary, and a Duck and 5 Spice. The duck was pretty good. The lamb pie was absolutely yum-o. Coffee was on point too which was good the see. Will hit this place when passing by in the future. Nice outdoor ya Les with some greenery too.
