A special anniversary dinner which I booked online. We ordered the degustation menu with matching wines. Our surprise was the three appertisers served which were not on the menu. Words cannot express how delicious all the food tasted. This restaurant can rival any top Melbourne City restaurant. Superb food and service. The matching wines were closely matched with all but one from Paringa's own cellars. Overall great experience, food and service for $120 pp. Highly recommend.

We arrived at 12.30 pm on Friday for the wine tasting experience and lunch. Unfortunately we had not booked a table for lunch and the restaurant was fully booked so this review only covers the wine tasting. Our "wine talker", as he described himself, was Bruce. An excellent host and really made this a special wine tasting experience. We worked our way through the whites and reds. Our favourites were the more expensive "The Paringa" range - we loved the Chardonnay and Shiraz. I was surprised by the latter but Bruce explained about the micro climate and why Paringa could produce such an exceptional Shiraz. We bought a couple of bottles and will be back for lunch on another occasion. The cellar door and restaurant are in a lovely setting.

Dined midweek in Jan and had a lovely lunch. Food is good although a little under seasoned for me and not salt or pepper on the table. It was quite busy and the air conditioning struggled to keep up leaving us a little hot & sweaty which wasn't great as we had a long drive home. Service was efficient and the wines were lovely.

this is a very special restaurant offering extremely good food and wines. we do find it a bit on the expensive side but well worth the cost, it is a place we love going to with friends for a special lunch.on our last visit they were very busy and we felt the service was not the best however that has not been our normal experience
