The rooms were like being on board a ship. They were very comfortable and with all the great feel. The managers were lovely people and a bit of fun. Watch the flying cutlery lol. Breakfast was lovely and filling.

This guesthouse is a beautifully maintained property. Comfortable rooms. Dinner available Friday nights. Full or continental breakfast each morning. Very friendly staff.
We stayed because we went on the Blues Train in Queenscliff only a 10 min drive away.

Our one night stay in this old world guesthouse was a different experience. Very comfortable beds; be aware when booking that not all rooms have ensuites. A lovely character dining room with a quality continental breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and helpful organising a free shuttle to the Queenscliff bowling club for dinner.

Stayed at the Point Lonsdale Guest house after driving down the great ocean road. Private car parking to the rear of the hotel with a swimming pool and spa area. Rooms were lovely, very clean with plenty of room with a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the back of the hotel. Peter who runs the hotel was just brilliant, we went down after checking in, to have a drink at the bar, so welcoming and even drove us into the centre of town. Breakfast the following morning was literally anything you wanted, everything on a table with hot breakfast to order, just lovely. Lovely oldfashioned hotel to visit.

If you like older historic accommodation you will love the Point Lonsdale Guesthouse. It was originally the Lighthouse Keepers home. It retains its timber panelled walls uneven passage ways and nooks and crannies. We chose the Captains Cabin. It is HUGE with two balconies and a view of the lighthouse. It even has a ( rather old) air conditioner! The guesthouse has comfortable traditional breakfast room, swimming pool, tennis courts etc and is walking distance to the shops. Step back in time and enjoy!
