Lovely quaint old hotel, we went there with a group of friends to celebrate a 60th birthday, the place was comfortable and has two sections the newer back accommodation block and the front existing 1898 building, the added bonus was the pool and guest kitchen area at the back, this enabled us to all get together and socialise away from the other rooms which enabled a good time to be had without disturbing the neighbours. The Hosts were fantastic, served a great breakfast and an excellent evening meal. We had ordered Fish and chips on the Sun night but couldn't get to pick them up, Pete the host offered to take us to get them, this was much appreciated. Overall a great stay and ideally set up for groups who want to stay and go on the Blues train, they provide transport in TUK TUK's
Point Lonsdale shops and cafes are 2 minutes walk as is the ocean beach.

Room tip: The Front section if you want old style accommodation, the back if you want more modern

Would have once been a very lovely old building but certainly needs updating.
Stayed in a 2 bedroom motel room which really is just a room upstairs. While it was clean and the bed linen was lovely it was actually just that 2 rooms with a bathrobe between them.
One chair in the rooms to sit on and no table to use.
Very small rooms.
Tea and coffee facilities provided.
No sea views from balcony.
Don't believe the cost was worth the quality of the venue.
Wouldn't stay again.

Room tip: Wouldn't recommend.

The guest house was absolutely charming, quiet and welcoming. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, linen was in good condition. The matress on the bed was very worn and lumpy, uncomfortable. A lick of paint would just lift the house. Great views and close to town. Breakfast was divine, lovely fresh fruit yummo.

Nice little room but adequate. Very well situated, right by Port Phillip Heads and only walking distance to both Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait. Two hundred metres to the lighthouse at pt. Lonsdale gives you excellent views looking west south and east. Friendly receptionist.

Room tip: no aircon so don't have a room facing the west

We stay here quite often and we love it. The children always make friends but you can also enjoy peace and rest if you want an escape. The breakfast is delicious and all of it is excellent value. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Fluffy towels and quality toiletries provided. Beach, cafes, pool in the back with tennis courts. Everything is walking distance. The hosts are kind and always helpful. A beautiful place to recharge and reconnect.
