We were en route to our destination and realised we were in Black Caviar's home town - so of course, we stopped and marvelled at its backdrop. Well done to the townsfolk.

When visiting Nagambie, the statue is a dominant part of the lake edge area, and well worth stopping by - the detail in the statue is excellent, and plenty of facts and figures for the novice and expert alike on the accompanying panels.

Stand in awe looking at this brilliant statue of a true champion. Story is well told in plaques and well sited next to Lake Nagambie.

Stopped to have a look at the black caviar statue while driving past, there is plenty of information on the breeding and racing history of this champion horse. Good setting in a flower garden with the Nagambie lake as a backdrop.
