A great place to start a winery walkabout / driving tour from Ararat. Conveniently located on the Western Highway, excellent range of well developed wines and a wide variety of gourmet foods. The 2012 Grampians Reserve is to die!! If you like sparkling reds try the 2013 Rutherford Sparkling Shiraz.

Great visit here Learned a lot of the Grampian wine history and tasted some stellar offerings. Our host was knowledgable and gracious

Went to Grampians Estate with some friends on Easter Saturday for lunch. We sat at the main counter, hoping for some friendly interaction whilst wine tasting and enjoying a cheese platter. Unfortunately we sat there for ten minutes, and were not served by the two employees and what appeared to be the owner and/or manager. After making comments to other customers, the owner and/or manager made it appear that we were not going to be served by himself, despite holding products in our hands to purchase. Therefore we left empty handed, and very disappointing!

We visited on the recommendation of Best's Wines and we are so pleased we did. Suellen was the perfect front of house, the wines were stunning and we enjoyed tasty muffins with sparkling shiraz for lunch. What a find....we'll be back.
