Owner description: Visit our James Halliday 5 Star rated winery for a great wine tasting experience. You will be seated with beautiful Riedel crystal glasses to explore a flight of 3 white and 3 red wines from amazing Beechworth. Small, rustic but a great wine experience. Its all about the wine! PS we were selected by James Halliday as one of his Top 10 Dark Horse wineries for 2014. These are the ones that few know about but are producing way above their reputation. If you are hungry choose some local Gamze smallgoods & Milawa Cheese to make up a plaatter

This little gem is well worth the drive. The wine is superb. We particularly enjoyed the Hidden Secret Chardonnay enough to join the cellar door club. We also purchased farm gate produce here, Milawa Cheeses, Shiraz paste and lamb. All wee delicious. Well worth a visit! It is nice to support smaller vineyards and local produce and to also get such high quality produce.

This is the only way to taste wine, I would like to see more wineries adopt this approach. My friend and I were the only 2 customers and we were shown to a table set up for 5 star dining. It is was a joy to select your own platter of grazing food - local produce from $20, you pay for what you order and take away anything you don't eat. From the fridge we selected a Milawa blue cheese and continental sausage to go with our wafer biscuits, local olives and fig paste, the lady added some dried fruit and nuts. It was certainly one of the most enjoyable afternoons I have spent, chatting, nibbling and tasting the excellent wines produced by Indigo. Our host was friendly and accommodating, we purchased a few bottles and will certainly return.

A really nice way to enjoy these wines (sit down tasting), the time flew by & the host was very friendly. We really enjoyed it & will definitely be looking out for these wines in the future.

Hi Bronny
sorry that we were not open when you visited. We were closed on New Years Day as our experience from prior years was that people were still getting over their NYE celebrations. We have been open every other day (except Christmas Day) from 11am to 4pm. If you would like to order the muscat just email me on robert_hawkings@indigovineyard.com.au and I will arrange for it to be sent to you freight free.

Great wine at Indigo for both white and red lovers - and well priced as well. Able to sit in the sun enjoying a tasting and a tasting plate of local produce. Well worth the visit!
