Great family friendly motor inn. We stayed on a road trip to Canberra and NSW and were so impressed we stayed again on our way back. It's a family owned inn and Warren and family certainly made us feel very welcome and gave us some hints for great places to visit and places to eat. Our rooms both times were clean and warm on arrival. The bathroom is a bit dated, but super clean. Very happy with our stay here and definitely recommend!

On a cold night it is great to enter a pre heated room.
Not overly spacious but it did contain a dining table and chairs, microwave and toaster. No room for lounge chairs. Upstairs facing the back was reported to be quieter and it was.

Hostess was very welcoming and rattled off about 10 places to eat in town - I thought I saw about 3 when we drove in. In fact once we walked the town we found there were plenty of places to eat.

Bed was firm but I found it ok. Parking less than easy or convenient. Room size ‘got to’ us after a while, heating was good.
3 star

Room Tip: Upstairs facing the back was quietest

Stayed in family room for 5. Would definitely stay again. Great central location - walk to dinner, breakfast and great coffee. Clean rooms, lovely onsite managers who had heaters on waiting for our arrival on freezing July evening! Thank you for looking after us.

We found this motel to have everything you could need, it was very comfortable and we woke refreshed and happy to explore Beechworth. Sadly we didn't check the fridge when we first arrived, and only found out the next morning, that it wasn't turned on, so our cold bricks weren't frozen at all and food we had put in it had to be binned. Lovely grounds and surroundings, we'd stay there again but check that fridge!

We stayed at the Armour Motor Inn fro the third time in Twelve months. It is in a great location easy 2 minute walking distance to the main street of Beechworth. The motel is clean, comfortable and has the feel of a family run motel. we recommend it highly. Arrive on a cold night your room will have the heater on waiting for you.
Regards John Velthuys

Room Tip: Two floors so if you have trouble with stairs request a room on the ground floor.
