Little gem, especially at 10.30pm after a few drinks at the local pub.
Food was high standard and the only restaurant open later than 8.30 that we knew of.
Chicken dhansak was soooo good as were the other dishes. Highly recommend

We ate here on Monday evening, we arrived without booking a table and the restaurant was extremely busy, but we were given a table straight away for 4 people. We have eaten here numerous times as we have a caravan in Criccieth and despite how busy the restaurant was the food was the best we have ever had. We had a delay between poppadoms and starters but we prefer it that way, the staff were very busy but very polite and all the food was exceptional and hot. As usual we will definitely be back!

Terrible experience with the staff. Day 1 - we decided to dine in inspite of the mosquitos. We ordered only starters coz we were trying out the place and heard the waiters mock the small order behind our backs.
Day 2 - decided to do a take away and specified to the waiter that we need one curry non spicy for the little one. He took the order and during delivery we asked him to confirm if the curry was indeed non spicy. The manager shocked us by giving us an offended look and said I can't confirm all that as we are too busy. We cancelled the order and walked away and he didn't bother to apologise. My daughter cried for a Roti as we walked out. Hence - never going there again.

In response to your comment about both days of your experience, I would also like to explain what had happened on both days. Pls bear in mind that we are running extremely busy and we also need to cover costs and not incur loss instead.
Day 1- Table for 3 you had taken from 7pm till 11pm and for that entire time you were there, the total bill was for £15 which does not cover my service cost or table cost and let alone the horrific mess made during that time. Bear in mind that we were extremely busy and our time and cost was wasted with your table.
Day 2 - because of the previous horrible experience with you, we chose not to reserve a table for you when you had called. So you had come for take away and you kept saying several times to the staff about giving non spicy curry, for which my staff doubled checked with the chef and gave your order. Before paying for the order, you had the audacity to ask again about the non spicy curry and it was at that time, that I refused to confirm it and dint want to sell the order. I have to say again that we are running EXTREMELY busy and customers where even returning without getting tables.
More than you it is us that suffered on both days that you had come. And this kind of horrible manners we have experienced earlier on from the few Indians that come in.
We are more than happy not to see you again!

Read the reviews and wasn't expecting the experience we had on our visit.
We were a party of 6 golfers, we started with 6 pints of cold Cobra and poppadoms while we choose our mains.
Our choices were special biryani, chicken masala, lamb Bhutan and chicken tikka dupiaza. All the dishes, rice and nans were delicious.
If your in town I recommend a visit or take away.

Ok, so they had a big birthday party in there which didn't help, but there were no apologies or anything for the length of time this experience took.

The food tasted pretty good when it eventually arrived but a. the Madras was ridiculously spicy b. clearly by the amount of steam coming off the food and the time it took to cool down, it had been over-microwaved.

Wouldn't return.
