We are a family of 5 and we love the residence inn. Two bedroom suite, full kitchen, two bathrooms, three TVs... awesome. We were out and about most of the time but when we got back to the hotel we all felt like we could find a little place to chill.

Staff was super helpful. Logan parked our car every day.

Breakfast was pretty standard stuff but the fruit was fresh and I appreciated that. There was coffee and hot water for tea at all times which I love. The rooftop is a lovely place to hang out. Great view!

There is a pool table in the lobby. And you can rent DVDs at the desk to watch in your room!

So many things are walking distance - Peabody ducks, Huey's, vous BBQ, great torta and taco place - Maciels is so close (get the chicken chipotle soup!). Aldo pizza was easy to go pick up and we kept the leftovers in the fridge.

This hotel is a great choice for family travel. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

This is a very nice hotel in a perfect location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking around downtown and along the river was pleasant. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance.

The roof patio is a nice place to sit and read.

Breakfast provided - was good.

Valet parking is really nice.

Room was huge and clean. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly - spending lots of time giving us advice and local tips.

Location was perfect for easy walk to Beale Street, The Peabody and tram to Civil Righte Museum.

We have an early flight. The staff left bagles and cream cheese in the fridge for our breakfast . Also chocolate Turkeys on the desk as a special Thanksgiving treat.. They always go out of the way to make our stay special.

Very historic preservation project turned into a nice hotel. They obviously did their best to fit a nice hotel into the allowed space of such a nice, historic building.

The staff there from the front desk to the valets to the kitchen and cleaning staff were all super-friendly and helpful. They were very welcoming and remembered us at every turn coming and going.

The breakfasts were basic and nothing to be proud of, but I do like the lean canadian bacon slices offered and the greek yogurt too. That's about all that I ate each morning with decent scrambled eggs. Everything else was fatty, sugar, and carbs.

Also, the $91 pet charge for our little chihuahua was unexpected and something we've never had charged to us at any other RI around the country. That's like a kennel charge for our pup that did not leave any trace behind. A bit disappointing.

As for the room, ours had a lot of room, a 2-bedroom suite. Nice tv's, but uncomfortable seating. The beds were the best. So soft. The non-sliding closet door in our room and broken granite in our kitchen needs attention. DVD's on loan via their library was a nice touch. Heating and cooling worked well, as did the appliances. Our corner suite offer great view of the river and Main Street too.

The roof top lounge area was a hit and we took our own beverages up there to avoid the pricier bar prices up there.

Perfect downtown location. Wonderful staff. They just need to catch up on a bit of maintenance and warn anyone about $30 per night stay for small dogs. That would have been appreciated.

Room Tip: Corner suites on higher floors should be requested.
