My husband and I stayed there last weekend. Our room was nicely decorated and looked clean and new. It was also functional. The only bad things were the lights turn off on their own after a while. The curtains were good at keeping out the morning light. There is also a Keurig with a few coffee and tea pods, but there were only 2 powdered creamer packets. The shower is also in the middle of the room with gaps in the door, so I would only recommend the king rooms for couples. My daughter and I frequently go on volleyball tournaments, and this would be a very awkward layout for a room with her. The tv was also good sized, and I liked our view of the pool and river. The staff all seemed friendly. The bar/ snack/ coffee area was okay and convenient but did not have a huge selection. The pool are looked nice with a Cornhole set. The location was very convenient to Beale Street with lots to walk around and see. One last thing is to make sure the upper lock is on your door at night. We had hotel staff come in our room around midnight our first night saying it was not marked occupied. I had slept through the knocking.

Room tip: Put the door lock on

This is a new hotel and I think they are still working out some issues. The hotel is modern and well laid out. All employees were super friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar but were lucky to get there early since it was extremely busy.

Priced like a Hyatt but having no restaurant. Parking charges border on obscene and surrounding parking lots look high risk. Not Hyatt's responsibility but Beale Street is a total waste of time. No other useful comments but I have to get to 200 characters.

This was the last stop on our tour of recent and ongoing development in downtown Memphis. After checking out the hotel, a few suites, and the grounds, the tour ended at the rooftop bar. The view was great, and so was the service! A big shout out to all the staff and, particularly, Brandon and Jet, who were tending the bar! We will add the Hyatt to the list for date night options and a staycation.
We look forward to grabbing brunch soon.

You cannot ask for a better location! The Hyatt Centric is stylish, the downstairs bar is great, and you are feet away from the heart of downtown. You’re an easy walk from a Grizz game, Tom Lee Park, or South Main!
