Happy Anniversary again. Thanks so much for choosing to stay with us for your special occasion. We look forward to seeing you again.
We stayed at Hotel Napoleon on a long-weekend trip to Memphis. The hotel is well designed, and the staff is super friendly and helpful! A smallish hotel, the rooms are large with very nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. Similar in aesthetic to a W hotel, the Napoleon has a very modern feel. Everything here was great, and we really enjoyed our stay. However, the neighborhood of the hotel is up-and-coming, so there is a lot of development/construction. A few good breakfast and coffee places nearby (walkable), and if you do have a car, I'd advise against parking with the hotel, as it is significantly more expensive than the parking garages in the vicinity.
Thanks so much for staying with us and sharing your experience. We appreciate your compliments and comments and look forward to seeing you again soon.
We booked this hotel due to an online offer, and it seemed good. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, but I just wasn't feeling this one.
What was outstanding: The customer service! From the front desk to the valet. They were awesome.
We didn't visit the bar.
The room: I can't put my finger on it. It was okay, a little better than basic. We just didn't have a good vibe. The room was clean, the shower/bathroom was clean. I don't know. Just a weird vibe. My whole family had it. The room was dark, maybe that added to it.
I've noticed a trend at a few hotels now where the door to the bathroom/toilet is a sliding door that doesn't latch or close completely. Our room had one of those. I don't like this trend, especially when you are sharing a room with a few people and looking for privacy.
We also visited in the hot and humid month of June. Mosquitoes were terrible and had made their way into the hotel. I don't blame the hotel for this, it's just what it is when visiting the south, I guess.
If I visit Memphis again, I will try another hotel.
Thanks so much for staying with us. We appreciate the opportunity to have you as our guest. It concerns us that you didn't have a good "vibe" but unsure the cause. We strive to take actions to comments from our guests that can improve the hotels atmosphere and future guests stays. We hope you will return and stay with us again.
We stayed at Hotel Napoleon as part of a "staycation" celebrating our wedding anniversary. The Napoleon is a boutique hotel in the midst of downtown Memphis. It's new, clean and the service from all the staff was spectacular. We arrived near check-in time on a Monday evening. Valet parking was effortless and immediate. Check-in was also a breeze: efficient and trouble-free. Dining recommendations were offered. We were very much surprised when Tristan (front-desk) brought a complimentary bottle of champagne to our room. Included was a note of congratulations from Micki Stephens, GM and a sampling of cookies and candies. This was completely unexpected and helped set the tone for our anniversary. We returned to the hotel lounge after an evening on the town. Jasmine recommended some cocktails which she prepared expertly and served promptly. This was a great stay. Hotel Napoleon is our new downtown Memphis home.
Happy Anniversary. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. We love hearing from our guests about their experiences. We look forward to seeing you again.
Rockstar Rocky was so friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Jazzy Jasmine was great in Luna even made sure our brunch was made the way we wanted. Perky Patrice at the front desk was super friendly and polite. Our room was great yes it’s small however so are most in downtown Memphis. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and happy, it had to be the best hotel stay in downtown we have had!
Thanks so much Awesome Audrey. :-) We love to hear how our team members impact our guests experiences, and love that you have given them special names. We appreciate you staying with us and look forward to seeing you again.
Spent $300 for one night when you consider parking and taxes. If we spent $150 I would have been satisfied but I expect more when spending $300/ night. The room was smaller than expected, the bed was not too comfortable, the walls were thin, and the decor was average and plain. I think it’s a good hotel but no way should it be ranked in the top 10 in Memphis.
Thanks so much for staying with us. It is very disappointing to hear that you did not leave us completely satisfied. That is what we all strive daily to achieve. Our rates are kept very comparable with the other hotels in the downtown area, and often are less. We hope you will return and try us again.
