It was open only for dinner from 6 in the evening and it gets really busy so pre booking is highly recommended.
Anyway we went there after a long and busy day - looking forward to our dinner and gosh what a fantastic dinner it turned out to be.
We didn't order any starters as the starters menu is rather uninspiring and went directly for the mains. The pork belly was amazing soft and really tasty, salmon was perfectly done with the cheese sauce complementing perfectly. But the highlight was the venison my sister had ordered. According to her it was amongst the very best she had ever had. Succulent, melt in the mouth, medium rare done to perfection. And the peppercorn sauce just made for a perfect match. My brother in law had the haddock from the today's special which was very nice and tasty but could have done with 30 secs less under the grill - would have been perfect then.
Massive portions so no space desserts unfortunately but no regrets whatsoever.
