Great location for Braehead shopping and activity centres. Only a 20min drive from Glasgow centre. Hotel is very clean and tidy, staff pleasant and accomodating. First we were put into the wrong room on the second floor and had to cart our luggage down to the ground floor for our actual room. Unfortunately, our window was right next to the entrance but it wasn't that busy so the noise wasn't bad considering. But the sound proofing to the corridor felt non-existent at times, almost as if our door was wide open. But again, it wasn't that busy. Now I know Scotland isn't the hottest of countries in the world but during our stay it was nearly 30c every day and our room had no air con. So with 4 of us sleeping in the one room it was like an oven at times, even with the window open. The double bed had no bedside units and the poor kids were in beds which had just about every spring digging into there backs when they lay on it. Only complaint I have about breakfast is the lack of selection. There was enough there but we paid for the unlimited breakfast and you get a far bigger choice with the same deal at a Premier Inn. I'd only use this hotel again for it's location.

Room Tip: Don't bother with breakfast, instead pop to Wetherspoons which is a 2min walk away.

Well the view was stunning you could see the mountains on the bank of Clyde.. as I was stayed at Braehead I must say the location of the hotel was consummate. The room was I stayed it was perfect for the couples with baby. Best of luck who wants to come here

Absolute Waste of a Sleep. Drunks shouting outside the front door. Til 3 in the morning!! Despite two calls to the front reception nothing done. We went for the business floor looking for a good sleep but a total waste of time. Had to come down after 3 twelve hour night shifts to see my sick father with cancer in hospital. Very tired and stressed but the whole thing was a joke. Drunk sexist and offensive language all night from the front door. Drinking with glasses outside which is illegal and smoking outside the smoking area. Staff did nothing. No air con so the windows had to be kept open as it was a hot night. Even closing them didn’t keep the noise out and the room temp was a joke. Don’t bother. It just attracts cheap drunks and crap.

I like staying at the braehead travelodge as it’s close to the hospital where I , sometimes, work as an agency nurse. There’s connecting buses just a few minutes walk from this travelodge, therefore, making here a good base to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms have everything that you need for a pleasant stay

The room too basic. Business floor implies business class and I suspect customers will book under this impression. Radiator didn't work properly. Only 2 plug sockets right in the corner of the room, away from the bed. Too expensive for what was provided.

Room Tip: Plug sockets by the bed. Make it CLEAR this is NOT business class.
