We visited the gardens this morning and were greeted by a lady (possibly the owner) who told us there were information sheets to read as we walked around the garden.

The trees were magnificent and provide a huge array of colours, its hard to take the stunning scenery in all at once.

Our children loved trying to spot Red Squirrels as we walked around the garden, but the Red Squirrels were easy to spot and they had great fun watching them run and jump all over the gardens, whilst trying to catch them on camera, which proved easier said than done, as they are quite fast!

The different types of trees were beautiful and the garden floor was littered with a mass of leaves in every autumnal colour you could think of. I was glad to wear wellies as in places sone of the paths were a bit boggy, but this was to be expected after rain recently. There are some stunning viewpoints around the garden.

It was well worth the entrance money (£12 for 2 adults & 2 children - so only £3.00 each) and the money raised is put into the care and maintenance of the garden as well as feed for the wildlife. We had a lovely pleasant family walk, with our two busy squirrel watchers, and we never heard a single winge about tired feet or being bored. It was a very enjoyable trip for all of us, enjoying nature in the Autumn.

We visited on a beautiful autumn day, sun shining through golden beech leaves, red squirrels so abundant we nearly stood on them! This stunning woodland garden is a Perthshire treasure of Himalayan rarities and a delight to explore!
The friendly welcome by the the owners/gardeners was a real delight!

Had a lovely visit today, 2 adults and our 12 year old son. The trees looked stunning with their autumn leaves and our son was quite content. The Giant Redwood and the red squirrels were definitely highlights.
