Fantastic beach, lovely and clean have visited here for over 40 years! But this time with our new puppy; be warned there are no signs if you park on front car park and walk across beach towards river. Got shouted at by carparc attendant. They need a no dogs sign on carparc side of beach huts. Not very well signposted. Cross carparc , go over footbridge with your dog.

Lovely quaint place - Walked around the fossil shop = ice cream parlour and cafe. Took a lovely stroll along the beach and stopped a few times looking for fossils. Didnt find any but it was a lovely place to spend a day in peace. It helped that the weather was good.

Passed though on a walk of the coastal path. Had a coffee in the cafe on the beach - weird taste! Lovely setting though

If its fossils you are after, research before you go! They are there to be found but you need patience and a bit of luck!
