The room was realy nice with all facilities. Very modern, comfortable and clean. Good choice at breakfast. Nice helpful staff who pointed me in the right direction for the bus to the airport. I thought i would have to walk to the bus station for this but there is a direct bus from the stop over the road from the hotel. I didn't have long for site seeing but was told at the hotel that 2 local buses have routes that go around the whole island. Perfect.
Would definitely stay again if returning to the island.

We stayed for four nights in a pleasant room with a spacious bathroom adjacent. Both overlooked the garden at the back so it was very quiet. Everything was clean and well maintained.
The cooked breakfasts were excellent and there was plenty of choice, including haggis!
The attractive breakfast room also overlooked the garden. The evening meals in the bar were very good and great value for money.
We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back overlook garden.

Good sized room with balcony looking out onto main road. Traffic noise minimal during the night. Really good location about 10 mins walk into the heart of St. Peter Port. It's a little bit of a walk back up the hill after a night out but just right to get the heart going.Worked off at least some of the fine beers to be had in the town!
Breakfast very nice. Quite a good selection of different foods.
Has it's own pub which gets a good amount of business from locals which is always good to see. Food served there looked good with a Specials Board written out each night. Parking right outside was always available.

Room Tip: Room No. 1

I stayed here overnight whilst on business. Check in was friendly and efficient. As I'd be skipping breakfast the next morning I was offered a packed lunch, which was a lovely gesture and most appreciated given the hectic day I had planned.

My room was huge, clean and comfortable. I've noted comments on trip advisor about rooms being outdated but mine was clearly newly renovated, with usb charging sockets as one would expect of modern hotel.

I ate in the bar, which had a large and varied menu. The portions were good and the price very reasonable, local beers were available on draught too.

All in all this hotel far exceeded my expectations after reading some average reviews on Trip Advisor. I will most certainly be back next time I'm on the island.

If you are going for a wander around the periphery of town this is a very nice bar to drop into for a pint and/or a meal. They do have local brews on tap and the serving staff are very friendly and obliging.
