It does what it says on the tin. An average 3-star hotel.

Breakfast times are far too early. I'm supposed to be on holiday having a lay in, but I have to be downstairs and ordering breakfast by 9am... honestly ruined my holiday a little bit. The food itself was okay but very inconsistent. I had the veggie breakfast almost every morning and sometimes it had one sausage, sometimes two. Sometimes one egg, sometimes two. Once it came without any mushrooms.

The rooms are bang average. The bathroom was a in between mint and olive green which is how I imagine old people's bathrooms looked in the 70s. The shower water pressure is so low and there was limescale covering the shower head. Also, there was hair in the plug hole. There was no air con, although we were given a fan. However, we also needed the windows open due to the heat and the back of the hotel was so noisy with workers outside in the morning and people leaving late at night. The heated towel rail was ON in July/August which is insane. No mini fridge in the room for water.

However, the atmosphere downstairs in the bar was nice and chilled. The staff are friendly and approachable. The pool is a nice temperature.

Decent distance from St Helier with a direct bus route from outside the hotel. Beach right on the doorstep.

I would potentially stay here again but definitely not if I had to get up that early for breakfast again. A 10am finish or even 9:30am is much more acceptable for holidaymakers.

Room tip: Prepare to get up early for breakfast. Probably an idea not to stay here in summer due to no air con.

We had a lovely long weekend on Jersey visiting friends, but due to COVID we’re unable to stay with them, so a last minute booking brought us here, and goodness how lucky we were! From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. We were able to check in earlier than stated, were helped getting milk for our baby boy, and greeted with smiles all over the hotel. Our room was enormous and had an amazing sea view with big glass windows looking out. It was an amazing hot weekend too, but we just kept the big black out curtains shut through the day to avoid the room getting too hot! Special thanks to the reception team and the breakfast staff for being extra lovely throughout our stay. We would love to return! Thank you!
