Its hard to understand why this Hotel has only 3 Stars, it has everything that I expect from a 4 Star, I have had a great holiday, Room with a sea view, tea and coffee plentiful in the room, hairdryer etc. Restaurant with great menus and excellent evening service and breakfast plentiful. Views of the tide changing.

Have just returned from a very pleasant 10 day stay at the Ambassadeur. I really can't find many faults, its spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and the food plentiful. We had a lovely sea facing room, a comfortable bed with lovely bed linen. Room serviced every day and towels changed. The hotel staff work extremely hard, they are friendly and willing. Our waiter, Andria Costa was excellent, more than happy to put forward our request for slight deviations to the menu.
The hotel is a little out of the way, however, there is a very regular bus service with the bus stop a little way up from the hotel.
My main gripe is the evening entertainment, there basically wasn't any ! out of 10 nights we had 3 nights with entertainment, and one of them was the same artist.
A suggestion I would make is for fans to be put In the bedrooms, without the need to ask as there is no air conditioning.

We really loved this hotel and will be coming back again, it’s on the beach and the pool is a real sun trap. The staff are wonderful, the dinner is five courses and the breakfast is plentiful. The rooms are good. However, our rooms (2 singles) had some kind of generator growling just outside the window 24/7 and there was a staff room maybe a laundry outside my window so the housekeeping staff had loud chats every morning at 7am. So avoid back facing rooms (I was 114). The front facing rooms have amazing views and the pool side rooms are so quiet. There’s an M and S just up the road with a chemist and food hall. They provide a laundry service and it’s so cheap 30p-£1 per item approx, insane! You can walk to St Helier or there’s a bus stop right outside. The rooms and bathrooms are serviced daily (sadly my shower only got to luke warm so I had to use the bathroom in the other room we had!) there’s a bus stop right outside to all over the island or the coach tours can pull up outside the front door. Hotel very quiet internally from other guests noise as there’s no young single sex groups.
