Willow Tree Cottage is conveniently located - a nice stroll to the pub or longer walk to the Castle Leslie. The village of Glaslough is cute.

What made the trip was just how well run this B&B is. We stayed for a wedding being held in Castle Leslie and the preferred lift from the proprietor was immediately on hand after we checked in. A shuttle service brought us back in the early hours of the morning and as we and many others had own door entrance we disturbed no one.

I called in to the kitchen to fill our water bottles for the trip home and I can honestly say that I have never seen a cleaner, brighter, more spotlessly maintained kitchen - not anywhere....and this was immediately after breakfast service. How do they do it?

We all commented on the breakfast - no congealed eggs sitting in a self service bain marie here. Eggs cooked to your liking and every part of the breakfast tasted so freshly cooked. I’d think from the flavour that most was locally sourced but didn’t check this.

Would I recommend staying here - most definitely. Great value for money.

We stayed in November 2018 and were attending a wedding at Castle Leslie. On arrival we we met and shown to our room with complimentary water and refreshments. Beautiful surroundings in Glaslough and after a great wedding in the Castle (we got a ride form Willow Tree to Castle front door), our breakfast was very welcome. Lovely food and kind warm friendly hosts await you Willow Tree Cottage.

Excellent B & B. Well managed. Greeted and checked in - all explanations with a smile. Facilities very good. Breakfast excellent. The owners Claire and Trevor go out of their way to help you. My Car broke down while there and they did everything they could to help me. I would highly recommend this B & B. Easy to find in Glaslough and very near Castle Leslie. Plenty of parking. Loads of hot water. Comfortable bed. Bedroom had excellent heating. I would stay here again.

Room tip: Some rooms are upstairs. So you can get a room on the ground floor if you wish.

Amazing hosts & breakfasts! Great rooms! Would recommend to anyone. Probably the most friendly place I have ever stayed. Visits to the pub across the road highly recommended. I hope to return one day soon!
