Lovely home. Great hosts. Super friendly. Superb breakfast. 5 stars:)

Lovely wee town. Stayed here for wedding in the castle. Within walking distance of castle too.

Nice and clean rooms. Affordable rates. Would recommend for anyone attending a wedding and not staying in the castle

Like most of the reviews I've read, we were staying here while attending a wedding in Castle Leslie. It really is the best B&B I've ever stayed in. Lovely rooms, great breakfast and very friendly and helpful owner. It's walking distance to the castle so perfect location. Although we were given a lift to collect our car as it was raining.
Couldn't recommend more highly.

We attended a wedding at Castle Leslie and were so delighted that this was our home during the long weekend spent in Glaslough. Trevor and Claire made us feel more than welcome, at every moment. From delicious, cooked-to-order breakfasts, to giving us a ride to the Castle (not expected and not necessary, but greatly appreciated), we really felt like family. They clearly have put heart and soul into this venture, and are proud to share their beautiful corner of the world with guests. We stayed in a 1st floor room, upstairs in the cottage behind the house - overlooking the courtyard and allowing us a 445am sunrise wakeup call by the birds (and the ability to easily fall back to sleep, thankfully! :)). Plenty of storage for clothes, very modern WC/shower, lovely room/spaces, and best of all, a 30 second walk to the best (only!) pub in town! We were grateful for Claire, Trevor and their family and how they made an already joyful celebration weekend even better for us. We will return! PS Although it's only a ~10 minute walk to the Castle, Willow Tree Cottage has a lovely arrangement with Castle Leslie to take you back "home" even in the middle of the night, via the Castle's shuttle service. Much appreciated when wearing fancy dress/heels and after a day/evening of food/drink!

Room tip: I imagine you cannot go wrong with any room here.

Our family were very warmly welcomed by Trevor and Claire despite a late arrival due to flight delays. We stayed for two nights as we were guests at a wedding in nearby Leslie Castle. We all stayed in the lovely courtyard rooms which were spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped (including a full length mirror which we really appreciated). Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice from fruits to the full Irish (which was very tasty). Claire and Trevor could not have been more hospitable, the house is beautiful and a special thanks to Claire for helping the lads with their shirts for the wedding! If you are visiting Ireland, I recommend a trip to Glaslough just for this lovely B & B.

Room tip: There are ground floor rooms available for those who find stairs difficult

A high quality offering located in a small piece of rural heaven.

Decor and finish were fresh, appropriate and to a very high standard, from the initial arrival right through to the leaving Claire, Trevor and Oscar made us feel most welcome, were full of advice and should be rightly proud of their offering.

Breakfast was a generous offering with a broad selection and special requests were happily accommodated.

If at any stage you find yourself seeking accommodation in the area or have a wedding to attend in Castle Leslie, I cannot urge you enough to consider Willowtree
