Erin, Maya, Georgette and Ray were great hosts. This was our first ever stay at a B&B. All of the units are in stand alone, so you have your privacy. The place was reasonable in price compared to hotels during the bike rally week. Nice location away from the busyness during this bike event. B&B experience provides additional info from the hosts as to what to see and do in the area, versus a hotel stay. Clean and comfortable.

Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Erin the owner brought fresh coffee to our door before breakfast. Breakfast was ample-eggs and ham with granola and yogurt, but not as special as we would have liked. Erin’s family was warm and spent time with us sharing stories. The hospitality was worth a million dollars!

There are no words that can describe what a treasure in The Black Hills Maya Jo's is.

From the moment one arrives until the sad day that one must depart, each moment is a treasure of peaceful tranquility. 31/2 miles south of town and a world away from stress, this is the place to be.

Our accommodation was the Honeymoon Cabin and it could not have been better. Kink size bed, fantastic shower.

Our hosts Georgette & Ray are the blueprint that every B & B host should strive to be, but most fail. They went far beyond what is expected, Ray provided very valuable information on people, places and things in Deadwood, Georgette made the most delicious breakfasts, and when I stepped onto the porch @ 7.00 am, there was hot coffee waiting. When we left early in the morning, they both made sure that we had fresh, hot and filling breakfast to go.

They are, simply two of the nicest people that the Good Lord has put on this planet and both My Lady ( Marilyn ) & The Author are better people for having met them.

This B & B is the only place to stay when in Deadwood, it is that good.

On a final note is Sophie, She is the resident four foot owner and she will melt your heart. I made every effort to see if she would fit in my bag back to AZ. alas, she preferred hunting in the Black Hills.

Thank you everyone, Maya Jo's is a gem

Room Tip: The Honeymoon Bungalow is the only room with t.v.

Not far off highway 385 but, far enough to be quiet and peaceful. Breakfasts were very good or better. We stayed in the cabin, it was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Erin, Gigi, and Ray made us feel at home. We stayed there during Kool Deadwood Nites and we given a place to park our "classic car" in the garage. Maya Jo's will be the first place we call next time we plan to stay in the Black Hills - Deadwood area.
