Stayed here on Day 4 of our spectacular road trip journey across South Dakota. Stayed here on Thanksgiving Day. Checked in on the 24th for 1 night, and I kinda wish we would have planned 2 nights here. This was my first time staying in a Springhill and was very impressed with the location. Very modern. We arrived without a reservation and were able to get a very nice king suite room for cheap. I was impressed with the room. Large sectional couch, sitting area, and bed area. Everything very comfortable and clean. Very large bathroom, with a nice shower and vanity. The hotel charges $15 for parking but makes it up with $15 in gambling cash in the casino. AND the parking is worth it. They have a limited amount of parking stalls in their underground heated parking garage. These would be invaluable in the winter time. And the lay out with the elevators is the smartest I've ever seen as well. The Elevators go right from the garage to the guest rooms. We had no more than 30 steps to walk from our car to our room via Elevators. Very nice. The Pool area is very nice, with an infinity pool, and nice hot tub. They also have a nice outdoor sitting area with chairs, a couch, and a gas fire pit. I forgot to mention the Hotel is also connected to a casino. We went to the Silverado Franklin for a nice Buffet dinner on Thanksgiving, (Definitely suggest this buffet, was well worth the money) After a great nights rest, we woke up and had breakfast, and the food was great. Fresh Scrambled eggs, and the rest of your normal breakfast fare. Very Yummy. Good Place to stay. Any negative reviews should be dismissed as those people being dummys or plain snobs that need to stay at super expensive resorts with butlers. Thanks Spring Hill for a great night. We will definitely be staying here again when we come out.

I've always wanted to visit Deadwood and the week of November 20, 2016 was my time. I had made reservations at this hotel for Tuesday night, but I arrived a day early. The receptionist, Lou Lou, quickly updated my reservation and accommodated my early arrival. The front office helped us with attractions and places to visit. The breakfast was complimentary. Coffee was always available, and the people were always friendly. Used the business center and that came in very handy.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view looking out over Lower Main Street.

Stayed here one night while driving through. We were traveling with two children (4 and 7). Our boys had been in the car for seven hours and were hyper. Hotel staff were great, directed us right to the pool, which is fun with colored lights. The room was a good fit for the family as the boys could sleep on the pull out couch. The rooms were clean and the hotel was modernly decorated. Breakfast in the morning really saved us time. We will absolutely come back!

A group of us (4 couples) and a single guy (5 rooms) stayed here for 2 nights. We really enjoyed the place. The rooms were very modern and nice. Lots of room to move around (suite). We hung out by the firepit a couple of nights (Yes, a little chilly) visiting. All in all a great place to stay and would definately stay there again. The only negative I can say is that the door to the bathroom is translucent and light shined through it. It only was a problem when a person got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and closed the door and flipped on the light. The light shined over the bed and potentially woke up the sleeper. Besides that design flaw, loved the room! Bed was extremely comfortable.

Krafte1, thank you for taking the time to leave a review about your stay. We are glad that you enjoyed the style, size of the rooms, and the comfort of the beds. The firepit is one of many cozy features at our hotel, and we are delighted that you got to socialize around it. We appreciate your feedback on the frosted glass doors in the rooms, this is a design requirement by SpringHill Suites and we will forward them your feedback. We are pleased that you loved the room and hope to have you stay again!
