Took our 12 and 10 year olds fishing for our lunch one afternoon and we are so happy we did! The staff provided guidance for the kids with fishing and catching the fish, then they cleaned, cooked and served up a delicious meal for our family. Thank you to Fish n’ Fry for a wonderful experience and great memories!

We stayed in the Log House for 6 nights. It was a little rough around the edges. Sink would not drain in the bathroom and the toilet never flushed everything down. Luckily we were right next to the bath house which was wonderful, very clean. Just inconvenience not to be able to use the bathroom in the house. The beds and furniture really need to be updated. They are really uncomfortable. There was one small window a/c unit that did not do much to cool the entire place. It was not hot during our stay though so it was bearable at best. Even with the log house being a little rough, we did enjoy the campground. Nice location with a general store. We even did the trout dinner one evening. My kids loved it. I hope my review does not deter anyone from staying because it is a nice place but $150 a night for the log house is too much for the quality of the place.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We are so glad you enjoyed the campground and, fishing and your trip. I'm sorry to hear about any problems you were having with the Log House. I only wish you would have told us about them while you were here so that we could take care of them for you. There are photos of the Log House Cabin online (along with all of our cabins) so that our guests can see what they look like in advance and the base rate of the Log House is $130 per night plus extra guests.

I hope you were also able to take advantage of our other amenities including the heated pool, free wifi, lending library, and trip services. We do hope that you can join us again in the future. Safe travels!

Stayed at the Fish 'n Fry Campground for a R-Pod gathering. The hosts were excellent and the park well kept. Did get soggy in a very heavy rainstorm but that didn't stop the fun. Pool was kept clean and warm. We stayed for 4 nights in Jul 2018 and would stay again. Only comment was the WIFI was not very strong for the number of guests in the RV park.

Wasn't the RPod Rally fun? We loved seeing all of your trailers and meeting such a great group of people!! We thank you for your kind remarks and we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! You are right about the internet...it's the best we can get in the Black Hills. When the park is at full capacity (like it is during a rally), it can run slower, especially in the evenings when everyone returns to camp and start streaming. We are hoping that Century Link (who is the only provider in the area) will soon upgrade their infrastructure. Stay tuned!

Hope to see you at the next rally! Happy Podding!

We visited the fish hatchery first and then drove down to the Fish N Fry.. it was perfect!! The kids got to catch fish and see a ton of scenery getting there. The man helping us was awesome with kids and the fish bite quickly so the kids didn’t have to wait long. It was absolutely the perfect morning!
