The staff here are simply terrific. i booked on a third party site, then needed a different bed configuration, and called the hotel. they were very nice, but full and could not make the change. upon our arrival (several weeks later), the person checking us in said that he'd remembered the request and switched the room! then handed us bottles of cold water, showed where the fresh cookies were kept, and said soup would be served shortly. Room and bathroom were fine -- very clean -- what you'd expect in a budget+ hotel. More lovely staff at the (far better than average budget) breakfast -- suggesting i wait for 1 minute for the fresher eggs, helping guests find whatever they were looking for, taking garbage out of my hands to throw it away. she was literally running around the dining room in her eagerness to serve everyone. Then, i decided to cancel last night of stay -- and did so late the night before. Of course, no problem, no attitude, no fuss. What an amazing manager or training or hiring process -- or all 3. These people should give lessons on hospitality to everyone in the industry -- including their higher priced competitors up the road -- who are typically cold and hostile.
