Stayed for a few nights on our way to the south coast. What a nice little park. I had read some reveiws about this park and there was alot of complaints about the size of the allotted sites, this issue has been well and truly amended, the sites are now huge. The ammenities are very clean and private, the surrounds are well maintained. This is a small council park, maybe around 24/30 sites, so pre booking is a good idea if you want to be shaw of a site, even if it's only over nite, we were there for four nights and the full sign went out most afternoons. Canberra is an easy 45mins drive but if you want to explore Yass and the surrounding area there's lots to see and do. Ross's Relics in Yass is a must to do. There is plenty of places to eat close by, the park is an easy 10min walk from the centre of town. Highly recommend this park.

We stayed on a powered site for one night on our way south. The caretakers were helpful, especially when our water hose would not reach the tap which was at the back of the next site. It was good to be able to pull up on a slab.....shame it wasn’t levelled when poured. Toilet block was good. There is no dump point on site.

We stayed here a few years ago and were disappointed with muddy sites and very ordinary facilities. Much has changed! Sites have concrete slabs and the facilities are modern and clean. In addition there is wifi that actually works!! Reception staff are helpful and efficient. Will definitely stay again if we pass this way.

We just wanted a caravan site for an overnight stop on our way up the east coast. This park filled the bill very well. We had a large drive-through site with two concrete slabs so were able to stay hitched for a quick getaway the next morning. A good, clean amenities block, very helpful and pleasant staff and reasonable price. It's only a short walk into town for good cafes, supermarkets and an interesting historical walking trail to follow with beautiful old colonial buildings to inspect. Only a short diversion off the Hume Freeway, it's a good place to stop.

Exceptionally friendly helpful managers. Given info and maps directions etc. Small park but well laid out. Easy 15 min walk to town centre which is quite vibrant. Stayed two nights over terrible weather. Able to request big site, but there are hardly any that are small/tight. Just a little more on the landscaping and leveling of sites would be gtrat. But as its only 45 mins from Canberra I would stay at Yass. Friendly, roomy and everything in a town at your finger tips. Thankyou.
