I’ll start by saying that the staff is friendly and accommodating, and that their pricing is reasonable. It’s also in a fairly accessible area, with food options, pharmacy, etc.
That said, the property itself leads a lot to be desired. While my room was clean, the paint and trim was showing it’s signs of age with chipping. The initial room I was in had a broken metal door latch, which I didn’t feel comfortable with, and asked for a new room. There’s no safe for your valuables, so you would be leaving valuables in the room at your own risk. The tv was also acting up, with not being actually able to control the volume on my tv or on the console itself.
The walls are a bit thin, so if your neighbors talk on the louder side, you will definitely hear it.
Finally, there was some kind of weird issue at checkin with my credit card, and somehow there was a hold equivalent to my entire stay’s cost vs. the stay’s cost and + $150 as advertised at checkin (i.e. $770 held on my card vs. $535). While a minor inconvenience to some, it can be a major inconvenience to others.
If you are traveling on a budget and will not be spending a great deal of time in your room, then this is a viable option. If you have a bit of wiggle room on costs, I would look at other options.
