I always wanted to try an old-school American diner. I simply found it on the internet and I went.
It is as old school as you can get - being established in 1947.
The service is kind and swift.
And the food.....everything I have tried (a Ruben, Monte Christo, Waffle with bacon) is just breathtakingly good!!!!!!!
I recommend it with all my hearth!

I love Fuller's. It's a Pearl District institution for breakfast or lunch. Retains the charm of the 40s diner with counter seating only...no tables. Sue makes the bread daily and the toast is worth going for all by itself! We just live down the street and go there often for breakfast. It's a one of a kind in the Pearl.

Fullers is a 1940s coffee shop replete with counter and the old fashioned stools. They feature breakfast and lunch only. They feature tasty standard breakfast fare and sandwiches, hamburgers etc. It's the 40s feel, the nice folks who work here and Sue's amazing homemade bread that makes this worth the stop.

There is only counter space inside the small restaurant but there are a few tables outside. I had a half order of French toast which was plenty and a side order of crisp hash browns. Both were delicious. The French toast was on homemade bread and done the classic way. ...soaked in eggs, grilled and sprinkled with powdered sugar. The service was great and my coffee cup never got halfway empty before it was topped off.

The atmosphere was fun, staff helpful and food okay.
Had breakfast, servings were plentiful.
The food was good, just not great - but a good breakfast in a friendly place.
