This hotel is reasonably close to the airport, in a very mixed neighborhood, with tire dealerships, old houses, bars, and used car dealerships nearby. The hotel is well-maintained, and right next to the light rail which shuttles people downtown.

Our room was on the third floor and was pretty quiet, except for the door rattling at odd times throughout the night. We couldn’t quite figure that one out. The amenities of partial covered parking, pool, jacuzzi, and exercise room were well-maintained as well. The breakfasts were very good, with warm, tasty sausage with eggs, biscuits and gravy, and yummy maple/cinnamon waffles.

Clean, average room with some C+ room amenities (refrigerator, microwave, tiny coffee maker, full length mirror). Decent free breakfast buffet. Location was so-so. Light rail within walking distance for easy trip to downtown area. My only real complaint is the location of the sink/vanity area in the room. It is outside of the bathroom itself (not unusual) but is only a few feet inside the front door and totally out in the open. We were traveling with two other couples and when they came into our room, all our toiletries and other personal items were out on display on the counter because we were not about to put all that stuff back into our suitcase every time we used it and there are no drawers under the sink to discretely store it. I think that is a real con in design.

The check in was great. The staff gave us advices during our stay.
There is a train station next to the hotel and it’s only 5$ for the day. There was so much traffic in portland so sometimes it’s easier to take the train. (No need to paye for the parking)
The parking was included and great wifi.
The room was comfortable.
The breakfast was ok.
I totally recommend this hotel.
